A refined washed Gesha built around black tea, dried apricot, and bing cherry sweetness. Honeysuckle aromatics drift through the cup while a touch of black pepper brings structure and lift. The impression is reminiscent of stone fruit steeped in floral tea, finishing with lingering raisin-like sweetness.
Tier: Representing 10 percent of our total farm production, these exquisite coffees are full of complex flavours, and super rare. The Rarities are the top coffees Gesha Village produces outside of our auction lots, and they are frequently chosen for competition by internationally competing baristas.
Washed process: The freshly harvested coffee cherries are pulped and fermented without water for 18 hours. These are then washed thoroughly to remove the mucilage.
Flavour Notes: Black Tea, Dried Apricot, Dried Bing cherry, Honeysuckle, Raisins
